Aesthetics by Dr Meg Minasian

- With a background of over twenty years as an NHS eye surgeon, I feel passionately that the best medicine is invisible. When you restore someone’s sight with cataract surgery, for example, there is no visible sign of the surgery, other than a large smile on your patient’s face perhaps.
- My approach to aesthetics is exactly the same: my work should only rejuvenate and restore in the most natural way. The ‘work’ itself should not be noticeable, my clients just look better: fresher, happier and more confident.
- My first priority in aesthetics is to improve the quality of skin. This is done by restoring hydration, texture and structure using injectable hyaluronic acid 'skin boosters’, such as Profhilo and Redensity 1. Wrinkle-relaxing injections are also a powerful way to treat existing lines or to prevent formation of new wrinkles.
- Subsequently, I use Sciton BBL phototherapy which stimulates your body’s own production of collagen and elastin With this approach, only limited amounts of more structural hyaluronic acid-based fillers might be needed.
- All of this is underpinned by an in-depth assessment, to effectively understand each individual’s concerns. From this I tailor a specific evidence based plan with realistic aesthetics goals and clear information throughout the journey.
- I would love to see you in my clinic and if you wish to book a consultation with me please contact us here or book online here.
